This policy covers the Android app Snapfit AI - Calorie Tracker (formerly listed as
GymPulse AI, Google Play package tech.marava.gympulse), published on Google Play by
Madhu Kinnera, operating as Marava Tech (marava.tech). “We”, “us” and “the app” below
refer to that app and publisher.
You sign in with your email. Meals, weight, sleep, workouts and the photos you choose to scan are stored on our servers so they sync across your devices. Photos are sent to an AI provider to estimate calories. The app shows ads (Google AdMob) and sells an optional premium plan (via RevenueCat and Google Play Billing). Health Connect data never leaves your phone and is never used for ads. We do not sell your data. To delete your account and data, email privacy@marava.tech.
Stored on our servers (hosted by Hostinger in the EU) so it syncs across your devices and powers insights:
Food photos, body-progress photos and your profile photo are uploaded only when you choose them. They are stored in our object storage (s3.marava.tech). Food photos are sent to OpenRouter (Google Gemini models) to estimate nutrition; the provider processes them under its own terms and we do not use them to train models. Body-progress and profile photos are not sent to any AI provider.
Premium subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and managed by RevenueCat. We receive your entitlement status and product ID. We never see or store card or payment details.
Google Firebase Analytics records app interactions (screens viewed, features used), device model, OS and app version, and a Firebase app-instance ID. No crash-reporting SDK is included in this version.
The free tier shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your advertising ID, IP address (from which it may derive an approximate location) and device information to serve and measure ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads). Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
If you allow notifications, a Firebase Cloud Messaging token is stored with your account so we can send reminders. Reminders are scheduled with inexact alarms; the app does not use exact alarms.
If you enable sync, the app writes your logged nutrition and weight to Health Connect, and reads and writes sleep. Sleep is read for the same night only to avoid writing a duplicate when another app already logged it. Health Connect data is not uploaded to our servers, not shared with anyone, not sold, and not used for advertising. The only server-side sync state is a “last synced” timestamp. Turn sync off in the app’s settings or revoke access in Health Connect at any time.
We do not sell personal data. Data is processed by these providers on our behalf:
Advertising data collected by AdMob is shared with Google for ad serving and measurement.
Precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone, calendar, files outside the photos you pick, and any data read from Health Connect other than sleep as described above.
All traffic between the app, our servers and providers uses HTTPS/TLS. Sign-in uses one-time email codes; no password is stored.
Your data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and all associated data (logs, photos, entitlements, push token), email privacy@marava.tech from the address you signed up with; we delete within 30 days. Uninstalling the app removes on-device data but not your server account.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We will update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
